About the department

The Department of management and commerce is an unit of Modern Institute of Technology, which heve been started in the year 2008(MBA) and 2016(B.com). The courses are affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University Badshahi Thaul tehri Garhwal .Seats are filled on the bases of merit (above cut off marks.) the BBA and B.com Courses are divided into 6 semesters each of around 6 month duration.

The total 60 seats per course are available which means there are total 180 seats in the department of managemtn and commerce. The first alumni meet of the department of management studies was organized on 9^th of April 2016. The students of alumni meet proposed to organize the meet every year so the all the ex students meet together and give guidance to the new students for their career.

Industrial Tour

The purpose of industrial tour is to wider the students’ perspectives of the modern industry and their and their opportunities for possible future careers. The coordinator, the students, meet Companies and their key staff who will be able to tell us about the recent technical and economical developments, and share their visions for the future.

The trip is also help students experience the rich culture of India through interactions with other educators, professionals, families and students, their immersion in India art, nature food and social traditions etc.
