Biotechnology and Microbiology

The research activities are being carried out in the form of doctoral research and postgraduate project research training. The outcome of these research activities is well recognized in the form of publications at international /national journals and conferences. The major thirst areas are:

1. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon biodegradation and their catabolic mechanisms in bacteria.
2.   Development of bioremediation strategies .
3.   Fruit polyphenols and their bioactivities.
4.   Production of Industrial important enzymes from microbes.
5.   Parasitic Entomology.
